Renaissance Faire 2009

SAT Vocabulary Power Plus Club

Interested students should see Mrs. Cochren for the Vocabulary Power Plus book and submit the $10.00 club fee as soon as possible.  Our first competition will be Friday, March 13th.

National Geographic Geography Bee

Mr. Purdy hosted this year’s Geography Bee at the end of January.  This year’s top competitors were:
First Place: Yojiu F.
Second Place: Elias M.
Third Place: Victoria G.
Yojiu’s results were sent to the regional competition, and we are looking forward to seeing his results!  Wonderful work, students!

Science Olympiad Competition on Feb. 27th

Orange County Scripp’s Spelling Bee

Alina will be competing in the Orange County Department of Education Scripp’s Spelling Bee on February 23rd as Thurston’s representative.  Good luck!  We are proud of you!

Spelling Bee Results

The spelling bee club met over the last couple of months during lunch on Fridays for friendly competiton.  Our club has grown this year to approximately 35 members!  I enjoyed spelling with you and getting to know you!
