Tuesday, June 16th:
Finals for periods 0, 1, 3, 5.  School ends at 1:00 pm.
Wednesday, June 17th:
Finals for periods 2, 4, 6. School ends at 1:00 pm.
Yearbook distribution
Pal Breakfast 
Dance
Thursday, June 18th:
School ends at 1:00 pm. Eighth graders report to school at 1:30 for promotion ceremony.  The ceremony begins at 2:30 pm.

June 12th: Activity Day for Thurston

Sixth Grade will be attending Track and Field Day.
Seventh Grade will be attending Renaissance Day.
Eighth Grade will be attending Knott’s Berry Class Trip.

Choral Concert: Thursday, June 11th

Our school choir will be performing beginning at 7:00 p.m.  We invite you to attend this musical evening of fun.

Drama Class Presentation: You Send Me

Thurston students will be performing You Send Me on the evenings of June 3, 4, 5, and 6th.  It will be a treat to watch these gifted young actors and actresses.  Don’t miss it!  For further information, please email mdressler@lagunabeachschools.org.

June 4th: Eighth Grade Panaramic Picture

Congratulations, eighth graders on your success at Thurston Middle School.  The eighth grade panaramic picture will be taken in the gym during ESP on June 4th.  Say “Cheese!”

Blue and Gold Awards’ Night: June 2nd

Our annual awards’ night will take place on June 2nd at the high school auditorium beginning at 7:00 p.m. 
This is an invitation-only event.  Students who have been invited should have received invitations by mail last week. 
We can’t wait to celebrate your success with you!

A reminder that students are on a minimum school schedule this Thursday and Friday.  The day ends at 1:00 pm. 
No school on Memorial Day!  Have a nice three day weekend!
